Reflections on the Multiple Intelligence Test
According to one of the multiple intelligence tests that I have taken I appear to be quite dominant in interpersonal , kinaesthetic, and naturalistic learning. This test said that I was much weaker in the musical, intrapersonal, and visual/spatial areas of learning. I think in some areas it seems quite correct, but in others I am not sure if I agree with it. I would agree that music is probably one of my weakest areas, but I would have to disagree with visual/spatial being low. As a student I always did better on tests if I took notes in different colors, and applied little visual tricks to help me remember things. I think that as a teacher it is vital to remember each student is coming from a different background and has a different strong point in his intelligence. We must work extra hard to cater to each child in the classroom!
